A modified in-medium evolution equation with color coherence

A bstract QCD jets produced in heavy-ion collisions at LHC or RHIC energies partially evolve inside the hot and dense quark gluon plasma, offering unique opportunities to study splitting processes different backgrounds. Induced (modified) splittings are expected be most relevant mechanism driving modifications of in-medium compared vacuum for a wide sets observables. Although color coherence among emitters has been identified as an essential studies antenna radiation , it is usually neglected multi-gluon medium-induced cascade. This independent emission approximation can analytically proved valid limit very large media, but corrections have not computed before context evolution (or rate) equation describing We propose modified that includes due interference subsequent emitters. In order do so, we first compute kernel following usual procedure factorizing from Brownian motion. The calculation performed two-gluon configuration with no overlapping formation times, provide correction completely picture.
